Space Debris

Pilot a spaceship through waves of space enemies, testing your survival skills. Use agile maneuvers to avoid projectiles and defeat enemies to advance through the levels!

This is my 2D Shooter project (and my first project ever on Unity and C#) made thanks to the Coursera course "Game Design and Development" by Michigan State University.

Add-ons:

Starting from the basic version required for the course assignment, I added the following elements:

  1. Modified the GUI:
    1. New way to press the buttons;
    2. Number of current lives;
    3. Number of defeated enemies;
    4. Number of enemies to defeat;
    5. Minimap;
  2. Additional destroyable asteroids with animated states;
  3. An enemy space station that spawns enemies;
  4. A boss in the last level with extra lives, dimension and guns;
  5. Powerups that give you 1 extra life;
  6. Additional levels with different type of challenges for the player.

I'm sorry, I click the link but I can't do anything... it opens the review page but not yours... are you sure it is the right link? Because I tried to share mine and it shows a sort of ID at the end of the link, like "h t t p s : //www.coursera.org/learn/game-design-and-development-1/peer/AYUmQ/2d-shooter-peer-.../review/Gzm_IquCEeyj0xJUVenU_"

I’m sure, never mind

It seem you should peer review if you have time

My game called  2D Shooter (The defender )
